| It was another phenominal night at The Clubhouse! Jason Eady started the night off with a great set. Walt is producing Jason's new cd (due out towards the end of the summer) and we got to hear alot of the songs that will be on it. Ryan James, who's new CD was also produced by Walt, got up and played a couple of songs, too. We're sure you'll be hearing alot from them in the future! We had another big crowd ( everyone has really realized how unbelievably talented Walt is) and we couldn't wait for Tim and Walt to take the stage. Tim is a good friend of Walt's and a very talented fiddle and mandolin player (and a really nice guy, too!). Alot of people in the audience travelled quite a ways for tonight's show. Walt's sister came from Alaska (he brought quite a few of his family, in fact), Lori was here from California, Meg from Boston, as well as a group from Houston and Austin. Word has gotten out about the Clubhouse shows... |
| ... as to what a great place it is for "listening". Take a look at the photos below... you can tell by the looks on each person's face, how enthralling Walt and Tim were. Tina, Walt's beautiful and very talented wife, also sang a few songs. We are always glad when she comes to the shows with Walt. We're already trying to talk them into coming back... real soon!! |
| The Clubhouse Girls would like to thank everyone that came out to the show, for being so attentive and showing Walt, Tim and Tina the respect they deserve. It is amazing when you can get over 120 people in a room, and everyone is sitting, listening to the music. We got an email from Walt today and he thanked us, and everyone in attendance. He said The Clubhouse has become his favorite place to play in Texas. (and he has become a favorite of the Clubhouse). Can't wait to have them back again. See you next week.... |
