Sunny Sweeney and Adam Hood

Tonight was a night of several "firsts"...
It was the first (but definitely not the last) time that we've had Sunny play for the Clubhouse.
She was so much fun!
It was also the first time I was the first person to get to the Upstairs room and the air conditioner wasn't already turned on. I flipped on the one in the back corner - but as the room got more crowded - the room got warmer. Turns out - there's another air conditioner I didn't even know existed! Once I was told about it and switched it on - much later into the evening - the room started cooling down. Sorry about that everyone!
It was also my first night of "sound engineer" class (before the show started). . I think I make a much better "roadie" than a sound engineer! It was much easier plugging in the mics and setting up the stands than it was figuring out the "mix" of the amplifier. Thanks to David Glass for his patience, but I think we may just have to rely on his expertise from now on!
< --------  It was also the first time J. D. Clark has played for us. By the time he finished his set, the room was getting full!

< ----
Rachel and Emily stayed busy at the front door, while I set up extra chairs
and took some pictures
Steve Borchert, from Hi-IQmusic
was in attendance again taping the show.

Although we had a nearly "full house", it was a great "listening" crowd.
Thanks to everyone for showing respect to the musicians when they were performing.

We had lots of musicians in the audience, including Stu & Bruce
Josh kept a close eye on
"Clubhouse mascot", Nacho
Justin sang his "Ode to Adam Hood"
and the crowd went wild!
Thanks to
Sunny, Adam,
JD,
Craig & Justin for a night we won't forget!

We look forward to having you all come back soon!
