Stoney LaRue and Travis Linville
with Brett Mouton & Aron Holt
December 17th, 2006
If this was any indication to the size of the show ... the line out front started forming at 4pm!!!
Although we had advertised that we would not open the doors until 6pm, we decided to let people in at 5:30pm, only because the line was beginning to wrap around the front of the building! By 8pm, it was "one in one out" !
The seats in the main "listening" room filled fast while everyone listened to a great set by Okie, Aron Holt (of the band "Mama Sweet"). Travis produced their new CD and after hearing Aron's set, we can't wait to get a copy of it!
Aron will be back in January, opening for Walt & Tina Wilkins, and promises to bring copies of the CD with him.
------------------------------------>
Since it was a beautiful warm December night, the outside patio also quickly filled up. We opened the windows and doors onto the patio and everyone could hear the music.
Brett Mouton, from Houston, was up next. This was the first time Brett has played at the Clubhouse, but certainly won't be his last!!
He had a guitarist, Kyle, that sat in with him.
Everyone enjoyed his set and we look forward to hearing him again.
It was Joni's son, Matt's, "fourth annual" Clubhouse birthday party. It was a little tamer than his 1st one (his 21st birthday), but  he definitely had a good time!
<----- It was also "Clubhouse girl", Rachel Allene's college graduation party. Rachel and her friends celebrated by seeing how many shots "off the wall" they could consume!
By the time Stoney and his "crew" showed up, Joni was beginning to look a little "frazzled"!

Thank goodness we had Jack's staff helping us with keeping count of the "one in one out's"! ------->
Although Jack and his staff were frantically trying to take orders, and bring out food and drinks - they never stopped smiling!
By the end of the night, they were running out of both food
and drinks!
By the time Stoney and Travis hit the stage, Jack's was full... there was even a line outside waiting to get in. Thank goodness the ones on the "outside" could still stand by the patio and hear the music.
Thanks to Stoney and Travis for making Matt's birthday, Rachel's graduation party and the last Clubhouse show of 2006 a big success!
We had a great time and we know everyone else did too!

Looking forward to many more great shows in 2007,
The Clubhouse girls
Thanks to everyone that brought a toy for the Straggler's toy drive!
