| Our second show at the historic White Elephant Saloon was a rousing success!! As fans filled their plates with delicious Joe's spaghetti and salad, Mark Sanders (the birthday boy) started the night off with a great 45 minute set of original songs. Randy & Kent had made a "side trip" over to The Wolf Front Porch Show (with Justin Frazzell), and we were pleasantly surprised when they showed up early for their set! They got started on time, and thrilled the audience with their songwriter song-swap, for over 2 hours. Kent is a mentor and good friend of Randy's, and it was very obvious how much Randy looks up to him. It was the first time we have had the honor of hosting Kent, but hopefully, not the last. |
| We would like to thank Josh, Matt & Aaron for showing up early and helping us set up for the show. It was the first night that we had used the couches, and we think it worked out very well. Everyone sitting in the "no-smoking" area seemed to appreciate being able to sit and listen to the show in a smoke free area of the bar. As you can see from the pictures, we had a full house! Thanks to everyone that comes out, week after week, to support these talented Texas/ Red Dirt musicians. Although there was still a little more "chatter" during the music than we would like, we will continue to strive to bring quality "acoustic Texas/ Red Dirt Music in a listening environment" for many months to come.
