| Steve Rice, lead singer of the Oklahoma band "No Justice" brought some Okie friends to open the show. Evan Felker & Kyle Nix were originally scheduled with Kenny Uptain (from Ft Worth), but Kenny couldn't make it, so Steve decided to sit in with Evan & Kyle. Steve ended up on stage for THREE HOURS! Bart Crow had attended the Cowboy game earlier in the day, but made it in time for the original "headlining" set and all 4 guys stayed on stage swapping songs and telling some great stories! |
| It was obvious by the audiences' clapping and cheering that Evan & Kyle made many new fans tonight! We got to hear lots of new songs from both Steve & Bart and were thrilled when Steve invited Jason Eady up to do a few songs. Jason is going into the studio next week with Kevin Welch producing his new CD and Jason played us a song that will be on the new CD. We can't wait to get a copy! |
| Tonight was a great night of music and friendship and we were reminded once again of what a close knit family the Texas/Red Dirt community is. Along with Jason Eady, there were several other musicians in the audience. Thanks to Roger Ray, Bruce Alford, Mike Mancy, Joey Green and others for coming out on your "night off" to support Steve, Bart, Evan & Kyle.
