| Southwest High School classes of 1970, 1971 & 1972 Mike Haley, David Beard, Coleman Smith, (Rollo's son, Ray), Rollo Smith & Bill Beard |
| This was the first Clubhouse gig for all three of tonight's musicians. Coleman & Raleigh Smith grew up in the Fort Worth area and have been playing guitar since they were in elementary school. Shortly out of high school, they formed a band "Silverlode" which played at the old HOP on Berry Street. Rollo moved to California where he put out a couple of albums before moving back to Cowtown where he teaches guitar from his house. They are both unbelievably talented and it was an honor to have them play for us. Buddy Lane (who is actually a student at Rollo's guitar school) opened the show. He was the host of the Tuesday night "open mic night" at McHenry's. We look forward to having them play for us again. |
