Rumors started flying early in the week... who "exactly" has Travis Linville invited to join him at the third Clubhouse Okie Show?? Everybody knows that there are tons of talented "Red Dirt" musicians out there and I'm sure the fans would have been excited - no matter WHO shared the stage with Travis - but everyone was thrilled to see Stoney and Jeremy Watkins walk in, with instruments in hand!

John Fullbright, another "Okie", opened the night off with a great set. He sang lots of original songs, plus some GREAT covers and had the crowd cheering - on their feet - at the end of his set. He sold every single CD he brought to the show and there were plenty of people wishing they'd gotten in line for one before he sold out. We can't wait to have John back again - next time as a headliner. He is definitely a musician with a great future ahead of him.
Many thanks to Larry & Jan Brock for bringing the Oklahoma flags! Travis made the comment he had never played a gig in Texas with Oklahoma flags on the stage!
The room started filling up early, with many fans bringing their dinner from The Love Shack upstairs, to enjoy while listening to the show.
"Clubhouse girl", Rachel, couldn't make it to the show, so Emily brought her niece, Kayla- who is a huge Red Dirt fan - to help out. < ------------

Just as we thought the show was winding down, we lost what little control we thought we had and the "Okies" took over! Stoney, Travis and Jeremy unplugged their instruments and John Fullbright hopped on stage and the last 4-5 songs were done without speakers. They urged everyone to pull their chairs up to the stage and it turned into a "real" acoustic show!
As everyone scooted up to the front, you could hear tons of beer bottles being knocked over on the floor. It ended up making quite a mess, although no one seemed to care!

For the final song of the night, Stoney asked everyone to stand up and sing along to "Forever Young". People were dancing in the aisles and the crowd sang loudly along with the guys. It was the perfect ending to the perfect night!

At the end of the show, everyone was in agreement... Those Okies sure do know how to throw a party!!
Thanks to Travis, Stoney and Jeremy (and John, too) for an evening we won't ever forget! We're already looking forward to OKIE Show IV !
Thanks, also, to Jan Brock for bringing us these awesome hats! < -------
