| From the very beginning, everyone in attendance knew that tonight's show was going to be an unbelievable experience. You just don't get any better than a Sunday evening, in a small, intimate room, lit by candlelight with two of the most incredible singer-songwriters in Texas - no - wait - Sam Baker recently reached #1 on the Americana charts in Europe and is leaving soon for a European tour & Gurf Morlix is a legendary musician who has collaborated with Lucinda Williams, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Jimmy LaFave (to name just a few) - so I am going to backup and say... it doesn't get any better than this PERIOD! |

| Being as we didn't schedule an opener for tonight's show, Sam & Gurf took the stage promptly at 7pm and went head-to-head with the Cowboy game. Obviously their fans didn't care that there was a game on TV tonight! From the very first song - to the very last one - the crowd was "entranced" (in fact - this might have been the quietest show we've ever had!). |
