The day after Christmas... what better way to spend it than with good friends, listening to "angels" sing. Our last Clubhouse show of 2004 was a great one. If you are a patron of the Clubhouse shows, you either know Ali Holder and her music, or Ali Holder - friend to the Clubhouse girls. Tonight, she was Ali the singer/songwriter.
There were alot of people in attendance, and although the room was full, everyone was so quiet and attentive.
Ali started the night off with a great set of originals and a couple of covers. Everytime she plays for us, you can hear people in the audience saying ..
" she's only 18?" She has a beautiful voice and her stage presence gets stronger everytime we see her.
She was the perfect choice to open for Heather and Beth.
I really don't know if Heather and Beth are friends, but they sure seemed like they were when they were on stage singing. Their vocals were crisp, clear and beautiful. The harmonizing was excellent. They swapped songs and told stories ( especially Heather, with some funny stories about her Christmas with her family). We got to hear old favorites as well as some new songs.
After the show, it was hard to talk to either one of them, they were so busy selling cd's and autographing them.
If you missed this show, I strongly recommend that you catch them next time they are in the area.
Thanks to everyone that came out for the show!
We'll see you next Sunday for
Steve Tenpenny & Jon Christopher Davis. Steve is fast becoming a "Clubhouse favorite" and we can't wait to hear Jon. From what we've heard, he will become a favorite, too!
When we realized our camera's battery was low, we thought we weren't going to have pictures from this show. Thanks to Jeff & LeiLani of "Graceful Photography" for letting us use these great pictures. If you were at the show... you know why they call it "Graceful Photography"!!
I think this is an awesome shot!
