This week's installment of the Clubhouse Concerts Acoustic Series was a great one! Mike and Travis have been favorites of the Clubhouse fans since the beginning, in 2002, at the apartments.
They have known each other for so long, they instinctively know what the other is going to play. The "lead breaks" are amazing, since both of these guys are awesome guitar players. They sang lots of stuff off of the new "McBurtschi" cd, as well as alot of old favorites. One of the things I love so much about the shows at the Clubhouse... you are so up close and personal with the guys, they will ask what does everyone want to hear and they always get some great requests... which they always play!
It was great to hear some of Mike's older stuff from when he was with "The grand divide" (his quote). Emily and I both commented that we needed to get out some of the older cd's and give them a listen. Can't wait to have these guys back again soon!! |
