|What can we say, except "it was another great night at the Clubhouse" with Brandon Jenkins and Bo Phillips!
Bo drove down from Stillwater, with his fiddle player in tow. After getting a little lost, and several phone calls to Jack's, they made it in plenty of time for their set. It was the first time Bo has been to Jack's and everyone loved his set. In fact, after Brandon's set, there were requests from the audience for Bo to get up and do some more songs - so with a little encouragement from the crowd, Bo complied.
|It was also Brandon's first time to play the Clubhouse at our new location.
Brandon and his band had played at Jack's last month, so he and Jane (his road manager) knew where they were going. They made it in plenty of time to order dinner before his set. Both Brandon and Jane made the comment that Jack's has the best food of any venue that he plays at. Jack's grilled meatloaf is his favorite!
|Brandon's road manager,
|Brandon has a brand new cd, "VII"
which is doing great on the charts!
He played several songs from the cd, including "Why Did We Ever Have To Say Goodbye?".
|Bo and his fiddle player got to sit down and enjoy their dinner during Brandon's set.|
|It's a great cd, by the way, and the Clubhouse girls highly recommend it!!|
|We had another great crowd in attendance and, as always, we thank you for spending your Sunday evening with us!
Thanks, also, for helping us spread the word...
Jack's is the place to be on Sunday evenings if you're looking for a great room to listen to live Texas/Red Dirt music.
|The fans that come to the Clubhouse shows are the best, also!
There are not many places in the Dallas/Ft Worth area where the fans are "respectful" to the musicians and actually listen.
The musicians that grace our stage tell us quite often how much they appreciate the Clubhouse and the fans, for allowing them the opportunity to play in a "listening" environment.
|Thanks, also, to the many musicians that spend their Sunday evenings with us.
It means alot knowing that they want to "hang out", even on their day off!!

|thanks to Jeff Coker for taking the great pics of the musicians!|
