| A few months ago, Steve Raines ( good friend to the Clubhouse ) gave me a call to tell me about a band he had seen in Denton the night before. They had opened for "Little Feat". Steve was really excited about how great they sounded and I knew I could trust his musical taste - so I sent an email that day to their booking agent - and immediately got them booked for tonight's show. All I can say is "Thank you Steve!". These guys were AWESOME!! And VERY entertaining, too! Gordy Quist (one of the members of BOH ) has played Clubhouse shows several times in the past, so we knew it would be a good show, but we have to say - Gordy has definitely found his niche' and these guys are going to go far! |
| Last Sunday, Keith Davis brought 5 musicians that he has been producing, but this week, Keith was the opening act for the BOH. Keith is a big fan of theirs and when he found out we had booked them, he asked to open. It was a great opening set. The highlight of the set was when his two young sons, Miles and Harrison, joined him on stage to sing "If You Can't Take it With You". It was very touching. |

| Since this was an "acoustic" show, band members Seth (bass player) and John (drums) had the night off. We've heard that the "full band" show is awesome, so we will be going to see them as soon as we get a chance! |
| It didn't take long until the room was full and we were hauling in extra chairs. Thanks to everyone in attendance - it was another great LISTENING show! |

| As soon as the show was over, there was a "mad rush" to the merch table! The Band of Heathens have a brand new CD/DVD recorded Live at Antones in Austin. It looked like they were selling a bunch of them! I got one and have been listening to it all day! Do yourself a favor and grab one - and be sure and check them out next time they come to your town! You'll be thanking Steve Raines - just like we are! |
