| Starting early in the evening, the question of the day was "Where's Josh?" Cody Gill took the stage with his guitar player from his band and played a great opening set. Although Josh Grider had not shown up when the show started, we kept saying "He'll be here. I'm sure he just got caught in traffic". When Cody's set was over, we had to make the decision... Rodney took the stage alone, but we were still thinking Josh would be there soon. As it turned out, Josh got confused about the night he was scheduled to play and was sitting at home in Austin... probably watching football on his evening "off". Although we had a few "disgruntled" fans, all in all it was another great night of music. Josh has apologized "profusely" and feels very bad about the mix up. He is promising to come back soon and make it up to everyone. We look forward to having him! |

| As everyone knows, the Clubhouse Concerts Acoustic Series is a non-profit entity, supporting the Texas/Red Dirt musicians and we have made a very important decision... we're buying a new sound system for the Clubhouse shows! This will benefit the artists, as we will no longer need to "rent" a sound system or pay a sound engineer, ultimately allowing the musicians to pocket more money from their shows. We're starting out with a donation jar at the shows, but are planning a BIG BENEFIT in January - with many of your favorite artists donating their time - in order to purchase the system. An announcement will be made in the next few days as to when and where we will hold the benefit. We are so excited about the possibility of providing a sound system to the musicians and are very proud of the fact so many of them are offering their time - as well as donations in the form of CD's, T-shirts and even monetary donations.
