| Tonight we were excited to host the "Pre-Party" for Tommy Alverson's Family Gathering, which is held every year in October. Fans started coming in as soon as the doors were opened. Many came up the stairs to the Upstairs room and the first thing out of their mouths were " We didn't even know this room existed!". After tonight's great show, we're sure the secret will be getting out to the true Texas music fans! |
| Jeremy Todd, from College Station, opened up the show with a great set! Thanks to Jeremy for playing "Satisfied" ... even though it was a cover! He did a great job. Jeremy is the lead singer for an up & coming band, "The Woods". Remember you heard him here first! You'll be seeing lots more of these guys - we're sure! |

| Although they had a long drive back to College Station, Jeremy (and his road manager Rusty) hung out for the entire show, joining the crowd for the finale "Amazing Grace". ------> Since the pics of him playing didn't come out so good, I made him "pose" for a picture. |
| We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the Clubhouse shows are "listening" shows. Unfortunately Tommy had to stop and remind their fans a couple of times that listening is preferred over talking... The "Upstairs" room is a great room for an intimate listening show, but a few talkers can ruin it for everyone. Therefore, we ask that if you would like to vist with your friends, you can wait until the show is over or go down to the saloon where talking isn't as disruptive. Our "Sit Down, Shut Up, Listen" sign was damaged out in the elements at The Love Shack, so we don't have the "reminder" to hang up for everyone. Hopefully we can get another sign soon. In the meantime - try to remember that we request the common courtesy of listening to the musicians when they are on stage. We look forward to next Sunday!
