This Sunday's show brought Adam Carroll, Gordy Quist and Matt Begley to the Clubhouse Concerts Acoustic Series.
While everyone filled their plates with "build your own deli sandwiches, with all the fixin's", Matt Begley started the evening off with a great set. We first met Matt from coming to our shows "as a fan". We knew he could haul the couches around with little problem, but little did we know that he is an aspiring singer/songwriter.
He did a great job and I'm sure you will be seeing alot of him in the months to come.
It's been quite some time since Adam Carroll has graced our stage. It was great to have him back!!
Gordy Quist had requested playing a song swap with Adam ( he even helped me book the show!), and it was obvious that Gordy is a big fan of Adam's music. He did a great job of playing lead on alot of Adam's songs, as well as harmonizing with him. This was the third time (I think) that Gordy has played a Clubhouse show and it is obvious by the crowd's reaction, he is becoming a favorite of the Clubhouse.
It was a great night of acoustic Texas music and we are already looking forward to having all three of these fine musicians back again. |
