| We had been looking forward to tonight since the day we booked the show... months ago! Brandon's popularity is going through the roof, and getting to experience his music in a small room is getting rarer by the day. He has a brand new CD, so we were treated to lots of new songs - along with MANY favorites from the past. Brandon knows how much I love "One Piece At A Time" and can always expect me to "request" it (or should I say "demand it"). This time he called me out, by saying I was "heckling" him, but I got my song!! MANY fans in the audience were thrilled to hear it live, being as he hardly ever plays it ! ~joni~ |
| One of our favorite guys, Stephen Pointer, opened the show with a great set. Stephen has a brand new CD, also, so we were treated to lots of new songs from it, as well. Stephen is an unbelievable guitar player (playing guitar since he was a young boy). His merch guy for the night, Herbie, stayed busy selling copies of the new CD. Stephen was also "sound engineer" for the entire show and did an awesome job. Even with 150+ fans in the audience, the sound was great (despite a few "talkers" in the standing room only section). |
| One of the coolest "aspects" of tonight's show was that the audience knew practically ever word of Brandon's songs, and several times, Brandon stopped singing to let the audience finish the lines. It seemed to really please him that everyone was singing along. ----------------------> |
